Social Cooperation Study

student participants

You are invited to participate in a study on social cooperation and social networks. You will be playing computer games where you will be asked to form ties with other participants in the experiment. Ties offer financial benefits, but also involve costs. You will be paid $10 for your participation. However, your decisions during this experiment may enable you to earn more. You cannot lose money.

The study lasts for about an hour, and at the end of the study, you will be asked to fill out a brief questionnaire about your experience. You will also get paid according to your gains in the experiment. Your participation in the experiment is valuable in that it would help us understand how people cooperate in a social networking setting based on different types of incentives and costs. This is also an opportunity for you to make some money based on intelligent decision making

To register and participate in on-going studies, please email Daniel Simmons (djsimmons00@gmail.com) to be added to our list.

Thank you for agreeing to participate.
